PilotCell® - Seabrook International launches its new PilotCell® dedicated to the manufacture of Quick-Turn First Articles and Pre-Production Performance Verification and Evaluation Lots. The PilotCell® is managed by our engineers and was created to shorten product launch cycle times for our customers. The PilotCell® includes dedicated production equipment enabling our engineers to efficiently develop the manufacturing process right the first time. It also facilitates seamless transfer to production since the tooling and methods are developed and proven on identical production equipment and platforms used in our volume production. This ensures reliability and shorter lead times for follow-on production orders.

April 2009
- Seabrook International announces a 15% increase in capacity through personnel and equipment additions over the past 10 months. The following equipment has been added to the production facility:

• (6) new wire EDM Machines (for a  total of 26 Wire EDM Machines)
• (1) EDM deep hole drilling machine
• (3) 4-axis RoboDrill Vertical Machining Centers
• (1) M32 Citizen Swiss Machining Center
• (1) Rofin Lasermark System
• (2) HAAS VF4 Milling Machines
• (1) Mazak QuickTurn CNC Lathe


September 29, 2008 –
Brenda Doyon joins Seabrook International as Chief Financial Officer.

“Brenda's strong financial background combined with extensive process excellence and continuous improvement experience make her a great addition to an already strong management team at Seabrook International," said Paul Barck, President and CEO of Seabrook.

Brenda comes to Seabrook with over 16 years of professional experience in large and small manufacturing companies where she has held positions in both finance and operational management. Brenda is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, is a certified VBSS Green Belt and has had formal training in lean and process excellence while at ITT Industries. Brenda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Merrimack College and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University.


January 22, 2008 –
Seabrook International obtains ISO 13485:2003 certification. This certification represents that Seabrook International has successfully fulfilled the requirements for a comprehensive management system for the design and manufacture of medical devices.

December 7, 2006 –
Seabrook International announced today the appointment of Dawn Frazer as Director of Quality Assurance.

“Dawn brings to Seabrook an outstanding track record of growth and development of Quality and Regulatory Management systems in medical device manufacturing” said Paul Barck, President and COO of Seabrook. “The combination of her technical background, manufacturing experience and strength in QA and Regulatory Affairs bolsters our commitment to industry leading quality systems management”.

Ms. Frazer brings over 17 years of leadership in medical device QA/RA, manufacturing and product development to Seabrook International. Prior to joining Seabrook, Dawn served as Vice President, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at Physiometrix, a manufacturer of EEG products where in addition to her QA/RA responsibilities, she was responsible for operations, software development, and clinical affairs. Previously, Ms. Frazer was employed with Medtronic where she held positions in QA/RA and as a biomedical development engineer where she was co-inventor of a line of low profile connectors for TENS electrodes. Dawn earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University and Master of Science in Engineering from Purdue University.

October 30, 2006 – Seabrook International has completed a 35,000 square foot expansion of its manufacturing plant on Woodworker’s Way in Seabrook, New Hampshire. The newly expanded 60,000 square foot facility increases production space, a move that allows Seabrook International the opportunity to grow with the expanding medical market. March 13, 2006 - Seabrook International is pleased to announce that Paul Barck has joined Seabrook International as President and Chief Operating Officer. This new position has been created to strengthen the organization as we continue to build the business in response to a rapidly growing market. October 3, 2005 – FdG Associates, a leading middle-market private equity firm, today announced that it has made a significant growth equity investment in Seabrook, NH-based Seabrook International, LLC, a manufacturer of precision surgical instruments and devices used in the installation of orthopaedic implants. The company’s principal focus is on the manufacture of instruments for the knee and spine implant markets. The investment was made from FdG Capital Partners II LP, FdG Associates’ second institutional fund, with over $300 million in commitments. Seabrook will use the funds to further expand its manufacturing capacity, invest in additional human resources and enhance its customer relations and marketing programs.
